Francis Tuttle identified a need for quality diesel engine technology training in the Central Oklahoma area. They envisioned a new facility to provide industry with qualified new diesel technicians as well as high level continuing education.
The new Diesel Technology Center is a 32,000 square foot facility with an 18,800 square foot shop. The building houses a diesel engine dynamometer and parts washing facilities. Each of the four 900 square foot classrooms has a shop area where engines or other equipment can be demonstrated or worked on.
The facility is now a national training center for Snap-On, Cummins, Caterpillar, and Schlumberger.
