In December 2004, construction started for the new Francis Tuttle Reno Campus. The initial phase consisted of the construction of the campus site work, the Kay Martin Center, and Central Plant and Facilities Maintenance buildings.
The 115,000 square foot Kay Martin Center expanded Francis Tuttle’s existing construction, automotive technology, health science, cosmetology, and CADD programs to the southern area of the school district. The facility also provided seminar/assembly space for industry training and conferences.
The Central Plant and Facilities Maintenance buildings provide support to the Kay Martin Center and are designed to expand to serve the needs of future campus buildings. Construction was completed in August of 2005.
