Bockus Payne Associates Architects has had the distinct privilege to design the M. Dewayne Andrews Academic Office Tower which is now known as the new home for the College of Medicine on The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Campus in Oklahoma City.

The contemporary structure was awarded to Bockus Payne Associates Architects after participating in a design competition. After occupying the tower last fall, their new home now stands as an icon for the Medical Center campus.

The total exterior gross square footage of the structure is 195,000 SF and is a project of the University Hospitals Authority and Trust. It also includes a 4,700 SF 4th floor roof garden, a parking garage with the capacity for 700 cars and new skywalks.

The limestone entry portal celebrates the three primary objectives of the College: patient care, education and research.

The exterior focal point of the building's entry is highlighted by a sweeping crimson ribbon, leaving no question whose home the building represents. The goal of creating a facility that would become a great recruiting and retention tool for the College faculty and staff has now been realized.
