Mid-America Christian University unveils a cutting-edge facility empowering athletic excellence and comprehensive wellness

 

Design Brief

The O'Brien Family Training Center is is an 18,600-square-foot training complex that serves multiple functions for Mid-America Christian University. The facility was completely donor funded with the building being named after MACU alumni Dr. Sean O'Brien of the Oklahoma Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.

The Training Center includes:
• State-of-the-art wellness and medical training room
• Locker rooms for men's and women's soccer, baseball, and softball
• 12 new offices for MACU's coaching staff
• 3500-square-foot university-wide accessible weight room
• An indoor turfed hitting and pitching facility
