Addition to First Presbyterian Church of Edmond elevates sacred space with harmonious design and serene elegance

Design Brief

The addition to First Presbyterian Church of Edmond in 2002 nearly doubled their existing square footage. Outside of the 12,500 square foot auditorium is a 5,500 square foot fellowship hall which ends with a grand staircase ascending to a lower lobby, taking advantage of the site’s natural slope.

Stone from the exterior is echoed throughout the interior of the church along with dark wood accents. A pointed arch above the chancel holds a delicate work of stained glass.
