The City of Oklahoma City unveils new fire station that enhances safety and highlights local aesthetics

Design Brief

The City of Oklahoma City was in need of a new fire station in the far SW corner of the city to help with response times and insurance rates for their customers.

A handsome facade of stone and brick draws from the context of the local neighborhoods while standing out as a notable public building. We believe that the collaboration with and listening to the owner and users before finalizing a design, resulted in a project that both Bockus Payne and The City of Oklahoma CityFire Department are extremely proud of.
