Bockus Payne designs the bold and flexible new home for The University of Oklahoma’s College of Medicine
Design Brief
Bockus Payne has had the distinct privilege to design the new home for the College of Medicine on the Health Sciences Center Campus in Oklahoma City.
The 9-story contemporary structure is highlighted by a bold crimson ribbon above a glass atrium which clearly identifies it with The University of Oklahoma. The building was designed without internal columns in order to maximize flexibility for the multiple departments housed in the facility. Movable partitions contribute to the flexibility of the conference halls on the first floor.
