Clean contemporary lines grace this 40,000-square-foot speculative office space, the first of two matching Class A buildings that offer lease space in north Oklahoma City. Bockus Payne worked closely with the developer for a responsible design and smart use of materials.
The owner asked for an elegant yet modern entry. Rich in texture, the low linear building complements horizontal banded limestone, stainless steel, cast concrete panels, and glass. The use of limestone adds warmth to the stainless steel and contemporary glass aesthetic. Exterior finishes were integrated into the interior lobby, blurring the distinction between the two. The two story atrium entry with a monumental staircase is the focal point of the structure with entrances on both the east and west sides.
